OUR ATTORNEYS
Other law firms may have many more (even hundreds of) attorneys. We’ve chosen not to pursue growth at the expense of quality of service. Each lawyer at Hunegs, LeNeave & Kvas is someone special, and our law firm is special because of it. That reputation is reinforced by the reviews of our peers, who consistently give our attorneys the highest rankings in skill and ethical business practices.

Did You Know...

Statistical evidence has established that of all injured railroad workers, the 20% of injured railroad workers who hire attorneys receive 70% of the money paid out by the railroads. The remaining 80% of injured railroad workers who don't hire attorneys split only 30% of the money paid out on FELA claims. (Stats provided by the Transportation Research Board, National Research Counsel Special Report 241.)

From the U.S. Supreme Court...

The United States Supreme Court has cautioned railroad workers that: “Injured workers or their families often fall prey, on the one hand, to persuasive claims adjusters eager to gain a quick and cheap settlement for their railroad employers or, on the other hand, to lawyers either not competent to try these lawsuits against the able and experienced railroad counsel or too willing to settle a case for a quick dollar...Laymen cannot be expected to know how to protect their rights when dealing with practiced and carefully counseled adversaries.”

Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen v. Virginia, 377 U.S. 1 (1964)
